A Brief History
Mega-Rod began life in 1980 as Bath Drain and Jetting Services, specialising in high-pressure jetting for major projects like the Bath Sports & Leisure Centre and The University of Bath. As demand grew, so did we, expanding our services to include septic tank emptying, vacuum tankers, and even work for the council at the historic Roman Baths.
We were also early adopters of new technology, including colour CCTV drain surveys, and in the 1990s, we added large-diameter drain jetting to our offering. That’s when we became Mega-Rod – a name that better reflects the scale and capability of our service.
Today, we continue to support both domestic and commercial clients, including working alongside Wessex Water to handle emergency and planned maintenance jobs across the region.
